Quality Control Specialist

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for completing QC validation, line audits, and product sampling to ensure products are manufactured in compliance with our costumer, regulatory and industry standards. Functions as primary contact for QA operations team. Participates in development and implementation of quality projects and supports department initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in problem solving and troubleshooting of Quality, Operations and Manufacturing issues.
  • Communicates effectively with production, maintenance, warehouse, and other functions as necessary.

 

Requirements/Key Experiences

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in the warehouse industry and/or knowledge of telecom products beneficial.

Electronics Lab Technician

The Electronics Lab Technician is responsible for providing detailed testing, troubleshooting, repairing and reporting of telecommunications electronic equipment. With expertise and knowledge of digital and analog circuitry, this Team will perform critical assessments on components and provide information that will improve USTC’s technical production operations.

Responsibilities 

  • Utilization of digital o-scopes, spectrum analyzers, DMM’s, functional generators and other electronic test equipment for debug and troubleshooting.
  • General understanding of ESD prevention, IPC-610, and lab safety procedures.
  • Must be able to perform SMD (surface mount device) replacement up to and including 0201 size parts. Solder quality must meet industry standards. Ability to expertly solder using a microscope is a must.
  • Should be able to read schematics, assembly drawings and understand various types of Bills of Material.

Requirements/Key Experiences

  • General electronics certificate or related military experience
  • Minimum of 3 years current testing, troubleshooting, repair experience.
  • Knowledge of electronic circuitry including RF, Ethernet, HDMI, and low wattage power supplies.

Candidate will be required to pass an electronics situational test, and soldering practical test.

The Logistics Technician will contribute to USTC’s success by supporting the operations in a wide variety of warehouse activities in one of the following functional group areas: receiving, shipping, distribution, inventory, production, maintenance and reporting. This position will work directly with the Supervisor, the Lead, and other team members to ensure productivity levels are on target. This role will also focus on achieving USTC’s Mission and Goals, and will support the implementation of company programs, procedures and practices to promote USTC key messages, acting in the best interest of the company at all times. Core Responsibilities:

  • Completes logistics processes, including physical tasks with respect to assigned area, e.g., receiving, shipping, warehousing and distribution – including, but not limited to the loading, unloading, cleaning, testing, storing and/or other processing of materials and consumer devices
  • Keeps safety and security top of mind; adheres to USTC policies and procedures as well as OSHA safety rules, regulations, and applicable laws
  • Where applicable, ensures that all work areas and related equipment and vehicles are utilized and maintained in a safe, clean and responsible manner

Requirements/Key Experiences:

  • Ability to regularly maneuver up to 60+ lbs with equipment., stand, bend, walk, lift and reach
  • Ability to use hand tools and operate all equipment in a safe, responsible manner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of inventory control software programs (Oracle E-Business, Sage)
  • Forklift certification (must be obtained along with OSHA certification for equipment operation)
